Motor Vehicle Accident Claims
How can medical massage therapy help after an accident?
People who have been injured in a vehicular accident frequently complain of feeling like they’ve come down with a bad case of the flu. Their energy levels wane, and even though they may not have suffered any broken bones, they feel like they were run over by a bus. Whiplash victims feel particularly sore and sluggish, which can also lead to anxiety and even depression. Common symptoms include: headaches including migranes, loss of range of motion, neck and back spasms, low back pain, numbness and tingling in arms or legs, and PTSD-line events, among others.
Medical massage and other manual therapies can and do help victims of motor vehicle accidents. These treatments help restore range of motion, greatly reduce pain and inflammation, aid in the restoration of sleep, and reduce accident-related stress and anxiety, among other benefits.
Workers' Compensation
Massage Therapy for Workers’ Compensation Insurance
If you’ve been affected by an occupational accident or injury, we are here to support you. Our massage therapists will work closely with your doctor and other medical providers to help you heal as quickly as possible. We provide neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and other advanced soft- tissue massage techniques. We accept all forms of Workers’ Compensation insurance.
Appropriate, quality healthcare for injured workers includes Medical Massage therapy. If you have been injured on the job and have any aches, pains, or stains, manual therapy should be part of your healthcare. If you do get injured at work, notify your employer and have them write an injury report. You will also need a prescription from your doctor or PCP for manual therapy. Contact the claims adjuster to inform them about your injury and the doctor’s prescription for manual therapy.
To get approved, please contact our office at (505) 557 6140 and leave a voicemail with all relevent information. Usually, you will be authorized for a certain number of appointments. If necessary, the doctor will write a prescription for more visits which will also need to be pre-approved.
*If you don’t have insurance, we accept payment by cash or credit card.

Get Addicted to Feeling Good
I’m new to town and needed a local sports massage place to deal with a recent injury and to go to for regular body work. Jennifer and her staff are very nice, easy to work with, and really take care of you. Best place in town if you ask me! I’m a very active person and need a goto place like this to keep my body working right. So happy i found them. Highly recommended!
I have gone to Whole Body Wellness about once a month for a coupla years. Jennifer is just the best deep tissue masseuse ever. She is very nice very knowledgeable and very strong. This is not fluffy massage. This is genuinely therapeutic massage which has helped my back, legs and feet immeasurably. I would recommend Whole Body Wellness to any human who has sore muscles that need relief.
Wonderful place. Alex is awesome and helped my neck and shoulder pain. Definitely worth trying.
